Lead Case Manager

• Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship, and technical assistance to the Case Management and Housing Specialist team
• Perform and oversee comprehensive assessments of program participants' needs
• Manage the program's most complex client cases
• Monitor, review, and audit participant case files, ensuring compliance
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development to Case Managers and Housing Specialists
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners and resource agencies
• Maintain and update all client files to ensure compliance
• Transport program participants as directed
• Establish and maintain positive relations with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all VOA policies and safety regulations

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferred
• Two years of successful experience in the delivery of human services or any combination of education, training and experience
• Knowledge and experience with social casework objectives, principles, and methods
• Knowledge of Child Protective Services (CPS) and Adult Protective Services (APS)
• Experience working with the homeless population and the barriers faced by the unhoused
• Extensive experience with strength-based case management and trauma-informed care models
• Experience working with low-income adults from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds who have a history of homelessness or disability
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professional integrity
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
• Experience in report writing and advanced file management techniques
  
  Proficiency working with computers including Microsoft Office Suite and database systems

Demonstrates expertise in strength-based case management and trauma-informed care, with a strong focus on compliance and effective communication. Proven ability to lead and mentor teams while managing complex client cases and fostering collaborative relationships with community partners.
