our video on a day in the life of a dsp! individuals to reach their full life potential maintain quality of life with dignity and respect assist individuals with activities of daily living (adl's) and provide total care supports encourage independence to the individual's capacity serve as a positive role model to promote appropriate adult behavior provide accurate documentation adhere and implement individual support plans assure a safe, clean home environment upholding accreditation standards and regulation steam-player who can also work independently maintain attendance according to the policy of the agency and position schedule and work location:day shift 6:45am - 3:15pm
* required to work every other weekend evening shift 2:45 p.m. To 11:15 p.m.
* required to work every other weekenddesotoqualifications:high school diploma or gedinterpersonal communication skillsability to follow oral and written directions and problem solveability to evacuate individuals served in the event of a fire, natural disaster, or another emergency must be able to perform cpr and crisis intervention techniques, paid training provided.light computer skills to include data entry and word processing ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 poundsability to stand and walk for extended periods of timeability to be flexible to provide the needs of the individuals served learn more about what it's like to be a member of the pony bird team ybird.org/newspony
