• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the acute inpatient psychiatric unit
• Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring safety and efficacy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and discharge planning
• Observe and document patient behaviors, progress, and any changes in condition
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to safety protocols and crisis intervention procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Qualified candidates will possess an active
Louisiana RN license
. A current CPR certification. Psychiatric experience highly preferred.
