Software Developer, Junior

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking Full Stack Web Developers with 1-3 years’ experience for our expanding workforce supporting current and evolving Naval Air mission planning, at Point Mugu Naval Base in Camarillo, CA. The typical annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 USD to $90,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

• Develop, create, and modify web application software or specialized utility programs
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
• Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency
• May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team
• Work at the customer’s site with government personnel to ensure program success

Between 1 to 3 years of experience performing the duties described in the functional description.

• BS or BA degree in a computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline.

An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree (6+3=9), or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant associate degree (6+3+4=13).
