Full Stack Python Developer

Pay Rate

$62 - $78 (hourly estimate)

Our client, one of the leading global managers of alternative assets is looking for Full Stack and Backend Software Engineers to join their team in El Segundo, CA. These are long term contract role and require working onsite in El Segundo 3 days a week. There are several large projects and initiatives in play that are prompting the need for strong Software Engineers.

Projects could be related to the integration or several investment management platforms, developing applications used for portfolio management, investment management, treasury and alternative investment. After development, this person could be responsible for helping to integrate these applications into the investment management platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, Angular or Vue.

JS and Java or .Net. Any experience or knowledge of Aladdin, Geneva, Finastra Fusion Invest, Markit EDM is a bonus.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or another STEM field.
• 4+ years of Software Development experience
• Recent experience with Python
• Experience with object orientated programming (C#, Java)
• Experience with Vue.js or Angular
• Experience with SQL databases, query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning for high-efficiency data processing
• Comfortable working in an agile software delivery environment, with Git and with exposure to CI / CD tools (e.g., Github, Docker, Jenkins)
• Highly preferred: financial knowledge related to alternative investments, derivatives, fixed income, and equities
