We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our talented engineering teams. Reporting directly to the CTO, the Vice President, Engineering will oversee multiple engineering teams and play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in building and scaling engineering teams in startup environments.

• Lead and manage our engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Drive the development and execution of our technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Establish best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing methodologies, and deployment processes.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance micro-services and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that delight our customers.
• Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability, empowering team members to take ownership of their work and drive results.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience building and scaling engineering teams in startup environments.
• Strong technical background with expertise in micro‑services architecture and modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Ruby, Go, Python, React, React Native).
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Dev Ops practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Results‑driven mindset with a track record of delivering high‑quality software products on time and within budget.
• Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

• Experience with scaling startups:
  Preference will be given to candidates who have a demonstrated track record of successfully scaling engineering teams and infrastructure in fast‑paced startup environments.
• Hands‑on technical expertise:
  Candidates with hands‑on technical expertise in building and deploying micro‑services architectures, particularly using modern programming languages and frameworks such as Ruby, Go, Python, React, and React Native, will be preferred.
• Proven leadership in Agile environments:
  We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading engineering teams in Agile environments.
• Track record of people development:
