Must have:
- Strong background in object-oriented programming, preferably in C/C++
- Familiarity with network protocols such as RDMA and TCP/IP
- Experience in data path is advantageous
- Ability to produce high-quality code with meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of modern concurrent programming and threading APIs
- Experience in Linux operating system development
- Familiarity with software development processes and tools, including debuggers, source control systems (e.g., Git Hub), and profilers is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities
- Motivational leader with strong interpersonal skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Collaborate with AMD's architecture experts to enhance future products
- Employ a data-driven approach to focus optimization efforts
- Stay updated on software and hardware developments, particularly in algorithms and architecture
- Design and create innovative AMD technologies
- Participate in new ASIC and hardware launches
- Troubleshoot and resolve existing issues, exploring alternative, more efficient methods to achieve the same tasks
- Foster technical relationships with colleagues and partners
