As a Software Developer, Associate, you will:

A week in the life of a Software Developer, Associate includes:
- Design, develop, document, test and debug software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions for aircraft autopilots and associated avionics.
- Ensure software standards are met.
- Confer with systems engineers, aerospace engineers, developers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
- Develop software using C/C++ and the Qt framework.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience in the field of aircraft avionics
- Minimum of 1 year experience with C/C++ and Qt.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Understand the process of requirements development
- Use of Helix in requirements development is preferred

Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $65,700.00/Yr.
- USD $/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
