Application Developer, Senior; AEM & Front-End Focus

Overview

Our client is seeking an Application Developer, Senior whose primary focus will be crafting high-performance, responsive user interfaces and integrating them into our AEM ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between creative design and technical implementation, ensuring our digital content is delivered seamlessly to millions of users.

Pay Rate: $65-$75/hr

6 Months contract to hire role

Hybrid Role; 2x times a week in office with locations in:
San Diego, Long Beach, Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, and Oakland (SF Bay Area)

• Front-End Architecture:
  Design and develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using Angular, Type Script, HTML5, and advanced CSS/SASS.
• AEM Integration:
  Develop and customize AEM components, templates, and workflows to support content authors. Ensure front-end applications (SPAs) integrate smoothly with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).
• Component Development:
  Build reusable UI components that align with Stellarus’s branding and design systems.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate visual designs into pixel-perfect code, and with Backend Engineers (Java) to connect UI components to data sources.
• Cloud & Modernization:
  Deploy and maintain front-end applications within an Azure cloud environment.
• Operational Excellence:
  Troubleshoot UI defects, optimize page load performance, and utilize AI/LLM tools to accelerate code generation and testing efficiency.

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 5 years of experience in computer related support field.

• Front-End Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Angular (current versions), JavaScript/Type Script, and HTML.
• Styling Expert: Deep knowledge of CSS/SASS, responsive design (Bootstrap/Grid), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Content Management: Hands-on experience developing for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including HTL (Sightly) and AEM Core Components.
• Backend Awareness: Proficiency in Java (specifically within the context of AEM/Sling models).
• Cloud & Tools: Experience with Microsoft Azure, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• AI/Innovation: Experience utilizing AI (Generative or Agentic) and LLMs to improve development workflows or product features.
