Job Description

As an Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions across UI, API, and system-level workflows.

You will contribute to high-quality product releases by improving test coverage, reducing execution time, and increasing test reliability.

Working closely with development, product, and Dev Ops teams, you will help ensure seamless integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines and drive engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automation test suites for web, API, and/or mobile applications
  • Collaborate early in the requirement lifecycle to ensure high testability and automation feasibility
  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks aligned with engineering standards
  • Build and maintain automated tests for iOS/Android applications using Appium or native mobile frameworks
  • Analyze automation results, troubleshoot failures, and drive timely root‑cause resolution
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation and faster releases
  • Support test data creation and ensure stability and availability of automation environments
  • Monitor and report automation execution trends, coverage, and quality insights
  • Maintain clear documentation of automation coverage, framework usage, and configuration details
  • Participate in code reviews and promote best practices for automation quality and reliability
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience in software test automation or quality engineering
  • Strong programming skills in one or more automation‑focused languages (Java, JavaScript/Type Script, Python, C#, etc.)
  • Experience with UI automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium/Web Driver, Playwright, Cypress, Appium)
  • Experience in mobile test automation (Appium, XCUITest, Espresso) is a strong plus
  • Experience with API automation tools (e.g., Mocha, REST Assured, Postman, Karate)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows
  • Familiarty with AI tools and exposure integrating AI tools in automation
  • Strong understanding of functional testing methodologies and regression strategy
  • Ability to debug across browser logs, network, DOM, and backend interactions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with healthcare, SaaS, or other regulated domains
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
  • Ability to debug mobile app crashes, logs, and network calls
  • Exposure to database validation, monitoring, and observability tools
  • EHR domain knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Certain US customer or client‑facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
