Responsibilities: Designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing internal and external‑facing websites; developing reports and other outputs; participating in development and documentation of new designs, specifications, and procedures; managing web‑based projects including project planning, status reporting, technical oversight, quality, and scope management; working with technologies such as .NET MVC, MS SQL Server, C#, and ASP to implement innovative solutions and provide comprehensive maintenance/operational support.

Working ConditionsPosition located at 1500 5th Street, Sacramento, Sacramento County. Employees may work in a climate‑controlled office under artificial lighting using a personal computer. Some weekend or after‑hours work may be required. The employee must carry a cell phone and respond to calls after hours. Telework is possible at the discretion of the Department; employees may be required to commute to the headquarters location as needed.
Business travel may be required. All commute expenses to the headquarters location are the responsibility of the selected candidate.
- Information Technology Specialist I classification (salary ranges: A: $6,513.00 – $8,729.00; B: $7,163.00 – $9,599.00; C: $7,864.00 – $10,537.00).

Desirable Qualifications- Experience with Drupal CMS platforms and familiarity with Sitecore CMS.
- Expertise in the latest version of PHP, MySQL, and the LAMP stack for design, development, and maintenance of web applications.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and Section 508 standards for ADA compliance.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience collaborating with program staff, IT peers, and external partners.
- Ability to learn and apply emerging technologies, including AI tools and automation.
