We’re looking for a bright, curious Automation Data Engineer with a can‑do attitude and a genuine love of learning. • Duration: 6 month contract‑to‑hire
• Rate: $45 – $50/hr (W2 only, no C2C)
• Location:
  
  Local to Orange County or Los Angeles County, CA. Hybrid/remote, must be able to drive to either office location

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience programming and deploying code into enterprise production environments in an automation, engineering, or systems role.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including VBA development used in enterprise production workflows.
• Working knowledge of SQL, including querying, data manipulation, and basic database administration.
• Experience integrating systems using JSON and REST APIs.

• Build, deploy, and support code used in enterprise production environments.
• Automate business and financial workflows using Excel, VBA, SQL, and APIs.
• Integrate systems using REST APIs and JSON.
• Work closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to turn ideas into working solutions.
• Support and enhance reporting, dashboards, and data‑driven decision tools.
• Learn new platforms and technologies as the business evolves.
