Java Developer; Fitness sphere

Our client is a leading U.S.

-based fitness franchisor operating 2,400+ clubs worldwide. Its digital ecosystem supports both franchise operations and member experiences, including onboarding, membership management, payments, and engagement features.

The role focuses on backend development for a high-load platform serving mobile applications through a BFF and microservices architecture. The system integrates with multiple third‑party services and supports features such as digital keytag, workout tracking, guided sessions, and class scheduling. The project requires continuous feature development, integration, and performance optimization.

• AWS (SQS, SNS, S3, EKS, Kinesis, Redis, RDS, Dynamo
  
  DB)
• Third‑party integrations

• Develop and enhance backend services
• Participate in architecture and design discussions
• Work with AWS and integrations
• Collaborate with distributed teams

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with AWS or cloud platforms
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• English level: B2 (Upper‑Intermediate) or higher
