Android Developer Intern

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including backend developers, QA, UI/UX, and product owners.
• Integrate APIs and third‑party libraries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and optimize app performance.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Support production releases and ongoing maintenance activities.

• 3+ years of experience in Android development.
• Strong experience with Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Knowledge of MVVM or other modern architecture patterns.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong understanding of Android app lifecycle and performance optimization.

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Knowledge of Firebase or analytics integrations.
• Experience in automotive, IoT, or connected services applications.

The base compensation range for this contract position is between $27.50 and $35.00 per hour. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, with regional variances based on cost of labor, prior experience, relevant skills, education, certifications, and other required qualifications. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
