- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python tests using the Pytest framework for distributed security solutions.
- Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional, system, scalability, performance, longevity, and churn.
- Create intricate test cases for distributed scale topology factors.
- Automate test execution and maintain integration in CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify defects, report issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
- Coordinate with test, product, SRE, and systems teams to ensure coverage from functional to performance angles.
- Design complex distributed architectures and influence peers toward adoption.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in testing, coding, code review, and automation.
- Document architecture, procedures, and processes, contributing to process improvement.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in networking, security, or cloud‑based technologies.
- Minimum 6 years of strong programming skills in Python, YAML, Bash, and object‑oriented programming.
- Minimum 4 years of virtualization experience in installation, configuration, and administration (e.g., vSphere).
- Good understanding of I/O subsystems and virtualization.
- Extensive knowledge of firewall and security services, and TCP/IP stack, L2/L3, WAN.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, debugging complex systems, and networking troubleshooting expertise.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs.
- Familiarity with traffic simulator tools such as Ixia Cyperf, TRex, and Iperf (preferred).
- Experience with tcpdump, Wireshark, trace route, and netstat.
- Bonus: experience with virtualization, containerization, or cloud platforms such as VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 8+ years of related experience.
- Or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 6+ years of related experience.

Compensation & BenefitsAnnual base salary range: $120,000 – $192,000. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus and equity.
