Clip It, Inc is searching for a versatile Full-Stack Software Architect with a strong focus on back-end development to lead the design and implementation of our system architecture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating both SQL and No

SQL database schemas, as well as experience with back-end scripting languages such as Node.js, PHP, and/or Python.

In addition to indexing and querying databases, the Full-Stack Software Architect will be responsible for overseeing our Dev Ops as it relates to back-end database implementation and processes and ensuring seamless integration with cloud services. This role will also be heavily involved in coding advanced algorithms and queries to identify data patterns using models developed by Clip It senior leadership and actuarial teams.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, and the ability to work across the entire stack.

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance back-end solutions using SQL and No
  
  SQL databases.
• Develop and maintain back-end scripts and services using Node.js, PHP, Python, or other relevant technologies.
• Build and consume secure APIs, adhering to RESTful guidelines and principles.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Manage Dev Ops processes, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Establish best practices for unit testing and quality assurance.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve system performance and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in back-end development, with a history of building performant SQL and No
  
  SQL databases.
• Proficiency in back-end scripting languages such as Node.js, PHP, and/or Python.
• Experience with Dev Ops practices and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Mastery of Linux systems and command-line interfaces.
• Expert with code repository tools (Git preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
