Job Description
We are seeking a Software Developer L3 to join our team in Torrance, California. In the automotive industry, this role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities- Design and develop custom applications and solutions using Apex Visualforce and Lightning components.
- Maintain and create custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, and process automation.
- Manage Service Cloud features such as Case Management and Knowledge Base.
- Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data migration tools.
- Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between Salesforce and external systems.
- Customize and configure Service Cloud and Auto Cloud to meet business processes and requirements.
- Develop and maintain Lightning components and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance user interfaces and experiences.
- Drive technical aspects of product features through all cycles of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Create and maintain technical documentation including system requirements specifications, technical design specifications, architecture documents, flowcharts, and deployment plans.
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of different systems and applications.
- Implement security measures to protect customer data in alignment with data governance policies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Proficiency in software development and integration, with a focus on cloud technologies and web app development.
- Demonstrable knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Extensive experience with REST API and R Code.
- Familiarity with component selection and specification in the automotive industry.
- Ability to manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Understanding of policy and regulation in the automotive sector, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Ability to travel as per business requirements.
- Proficient in data migration and technical documentation.
- Ability to work with internal teams and leverage knowledge base for efficient problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on business process functions and case management.
- Experience in UI development would be a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
