What To ExpectWe ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full‑time (40 hours/week) and on‑site, for most internships. The position is expected to start August or September 2026 and continue through fall term (~December 2026 or later). Students must be actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates should apply for full‑time positions. International students with CPT must verify work authorization to work 40 hours per week.
AboutThe Team
Our Mobile Applications Engineering team builds Tesla’s best‑in‑class mobile app, including features such as smart summon, climate controls, keyless entry, and sentry mode.
What You'll Do- Design, code, and maintain mobile user experiences.
- Optimize code for performance, stability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams: hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers.
- Current pursuit of a Computer Science (or related) degree with graduation date between 2026 and 2027.
- Familiarity with Swift, Kotlin, or Typescript;
Android and/or iOS experience. React/React Native and Kotlin experience preferred. - Excellent grasp of fundamental CS concepts and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Experience using common design patterns.
- High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.

Expected compensation: $40.00–$56.00/hour + benefits. Pay may vary based on market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include other elements depending on the position offered.
