Sr Full Stack Node.js developer

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Full Stack JavaScript Developer.

Do you have experience building scalable web applications using JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and AWS services?

You will join a dynamic team as a full stack developer working on high-impact projects within a collaborative environment. You will partner closely with product owners and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy production-ready software solutions. Your responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, building REST APIs, and implementing cloud-based services. This role is a contract position lasting 8+ years of experience in web development and involves hybrid work with three days in the office each week.

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Build and optimize robust backend services with Node.js, Type Script, and cloud technologies.
• Design and implement efficient, normalized databases in PostgreSQL.
• Develop and deploy scalable REST APIs hosted on cloud platforms, primarily AWS, including Lambdas, S3, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.
• Write comprehensive unit tests utilizing Jest and react-testing-library to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and improve overall system performance.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices in your development process.

• 8+ years of experience as a JavaScript full stack developer.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
• 5+ years of experience with React.js and PostgreSQL.
• 4+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services including Lambdas, S3, SQS, SNS, Kafka, and Step Functions.
• Strong proficiency in Type Script, front‑end and back‑end development, and database design.
• Ability to develop maintainable, well‑structured code following best practices and local guidelines.
• Experience working in product‑oriented agile organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, proactive attitude, and team collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and innovate in a fast‑paced environment.

• Experience with additional cloud services such as Kafka, monitoring tools, or automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
• Exposure to global teams and the ability to work across different time zones.

$58.10 – $83.00 /hr
