Technical Lead - Mobile Applications (Android) - Medical Devices

Location: Valencia, CA or Santa Clara, CA (100% Onsite), can take relocators

We are seeking a hands‑on Technical Lead with strong Android mobile application development experience to lead a team of 4-5 engineers supporting mobile app integration and remote‑control functionality for medical device products.

• Lead Android mobile application development and integration efforts.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversight for a team of 4-5 engineers.
• Drive architecture, code quality, testing, scalability, and maintainability best practices.
• Establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and monitoring strategies.
• Manage Google Play Store releases and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Compliance, and cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Track delivery metrics, team performance, and operational KPIs.
• Remain hands‑on with design, development, troubleshooting, and technical decision‑making.
• Google Play Store deployment and release management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong expertise in Android application development

• 4-5+ years of experience in the Medical Device industry
  .
• Experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and IEC 62304
  .
• Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring engineering teams.

• iOS development experience.
• Cross‑platform mobile development experience (Flutter, React Native, etc.).
