Senior Software Developer Big Data

Job Description

The project focuses on video streaming platform development. You'll be developing and maintaining a mixture of production‑ready components for various digital enterprise systems, including Data Platform and Gen AI applications. Our team spans across multiple time zones (majorly, USA & Poland) and covers the entire product life cycle, including architecture, design, coding, Dev Ops, testing, and the rest of the software development activities required to ensure uninterrupted content streaming service to millions of customers worldwide.

We work using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as a process framework and use software development best practices such as CI/CD, TDD, etc.

• Develop and enhance features related to Data Platform and Big Data services through the direction of the Technical Product Owner assigned to this team.
• Extract/Transform/Load data from various data sources.
• Collaborate with other software engineering teams, product managers, and architects in a cross‑functional environment to innovate and improve the Data Platform.
• Provide operational support including triaging and resolving production issues.

• Proficient in Programming Languages/Frameworks:
  Python, PySpark, Spark, Scala.
• Experienced with AWS Ecosystem: EMR, Lambdas, Glue ETL, Step Functions, Dynamo DB, Redshift, Athena, S3 Data Lake / Lake Formation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.
