We are seeking a highly skilled Android App Developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to support rapid prototyping and development of modern mobile applications, particularly optimized for small‑screen user experiences in downtown San Francisco

• Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Build rapid prototypes and proofs‑of‑concept for new product ideas, focusing on fast iteration cycles
• Create intuitive, responsive UIs optimized for small‑screen devices
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (UX, backend, embedded teams)
• Translate product requirements into functional and scalable mobile solutions
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and usability of applications
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Debug and resolve issues related to application behavior and performance

• 5+ years of experience in Android application development
• Strong proficiency in:
• Kotlin
• Jetpack Compose
• Experience building and deploying Android apps end‑to‑end
• Experience with rapid prototyping / MVP development
• Strong focus on UI/UX for constrained or small displays
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git)

• Experience with edge devices, embedded systems, or connected products
• Familiarity with Android frameworks and services for scalable applications.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and memory management
• Experience working in an engineering services or consulting environment
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Solid understanding of REST APIs and data handling

• The annual salary range for this role is $100,000 – $175,000 per year.
• The Annual Salary depends upon various job‑related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. This range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
