Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex technical projects
- Enable Redfin's app developers to build and ship the top-rated real estate apps
- Contribute to the long-term strategy of the Android platform
- Collaborate with teammates by reviewing code, writing documentation, and refining best practices
- Work closely with product and design teams to understand user and business needs
- Drive the team forward in Android best practices and design principles
- 5+ years of development experience
- At least 3 years of Native Android experience
- Practical experience building Android applications in Kotlin and Java
- Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals
- Effective communication skills
- Curious about mobile CI/CD and cloud development technologies, such as Bitrise and Jenkins
- Deep knowledge of at least one AI code generation tool, such as Git Hub CoPilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar
