Principal Software Engineer – Full Stack, Event Technology

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices
• Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows
• Contribute to building and maintaining the shared system context
• Critically evaluate code for correctness, quality, security, and performance
• Lead the architectural strategy for the Event Technology and websites portfolio
• Strategically plan, design, and execute the implementation of highly scalable solutions
  
  Collaborate with Architects, Lead Engineers, Product, UX, and cross-functional teams

• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• A demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering
• Proven experience leveraging AI tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.) in daily workflows
• Advanced prompt engineering skills
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role
• Strong understanding and embodiment of service ownership principles
• Proven ability to mentor team members
• Experience developing front-end and back-end software, including JavaScript with Type Script
• Experience building high-scale microservices on AWS (preferred), GCP, or other public cloud substrates
• Expertise in consuming (and ideally building) GraphQL and RESTful APIs
