Core Engineer, Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• provide technical leadership to teams for design and architectures
• manage teams delivering on IAS’s mission
• lead a team of engineers to design, build, and deploy technical solutions
• drive technical innovation and ensure engineering efforts align with business impact
• operate as a player‑coach, staying hands‑on to review designs
• think and act strategically by owning business and organizational strategy
• collaborate across teams to ensure cohesive results
• partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to define product requirements
• raise the bar for your team by coaching on technical best practices
• manage hiring, performance, and retention to build a high‑performing team

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related STEM field
• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in software development
• at least 5 years leading and managing high‑performing engineering teams
• deep, hands‑on experience building and deploying AI and machine learning systems at scale
• a "builder first" mentality
• proven ability to partner effectively with Product and business stakeholders
• expertise in system design and architecture for scalable, production‑grade AI services
• excellent communication skills
• experience building and leading teams in a fast‑paced, agile environment
