This is a 12 week paid summer internship program in either San Francisco, CA, Mountain View, CA, or Bellevue, WA.
Impact you will have- Deeply understand customer problem space and establish the rails for viable solution space
- Prototype and test early ideas with customers and engineers to validate direction before the team commits to a build
- Work with engineers and designers to ship features on the Databricks platform
- Own your project end-to-end — design, build, launch, and iterate on feedback
- Build with scale, quality, and security in mind from day one
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in computer science or a related engineering field graduating in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
- You've used AI tooling for both personal productivity and development projects
- You have some first-hand experience with SQL and/or Python
- You're hands‑on and learn by doing — happy to build, test, and iterate your way to an answer
- You use analytical skills to make data-driven decisions (e.g. analyzing product usage)
- You can make complex topics simple and communicate nuance to partners (engineers, customers, field) in both written and verbal form
- You're excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team
- You stay curious and keep learning, whether it's a new technology, a customer's domain, or a corner of the product you haven't touched
