Job Overview

We are representing a confidential organisation seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join their team on a Part-Time basis. This position is based in Louisiana, United States
. The ideal candidate will be a passionate developer who is keen to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of innovative software solutions. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality products and play a key role in all stages of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and team methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Proven professional experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar development role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript).
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
