The City of Maryland Heights is accepting applications for Lifeguard at Aquaport, its seasonal outdoor aquatic facility, for the 2026 season. The schedule is varied and will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. No experience needed - we will train you!
The starting pay for this position is $16.15 per hour

Lifeguard training is typically offered beginning in February, with normal work hours commencing mid-April through Labor Day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Provide a safe aquatic environment for patrons of the City s aquatic facilities by following Star Guard ELITE Lifeguard training, CPR/AED, first aid, and established emergency action procedures.
- Must be able to lift and carry or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to work independently as well as with a team
- Successfully complete Star Guard ELITE lifeguard training
- Must be able to work harmoniously with co-workers and patrons
- Must be available for pre-season site-specific training to include facility safety and emergency action plan, scheduling, and site-specific policies and procedures
