Swim Instructor

Swim Instructor – Life Time Inc.

This position will work in a fast-paced Aquatics environment, helping adults and children improve their swimming skills, teaching life skills to youngest members, evaluating swimming ability to assign appropriate swim level, and maintaining cleanliness and order of Aquatics facilities.

• Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events.
• Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns.
• Provides a safe, clean, and organized pool area.
• Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services.

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (within 60 days of hire).
• Complete and pass all Life Time courses upon hire.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests regarding Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to routinely lift more than 20 lbs.

• Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience.
