MIDDLE SCHOOL HEAD BASEBALL COACH

The Camdenton R-III School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Baseball Coach to lead and develop student‑athletes both on and off the field. We are looking for a coach who values teamwork, sportsmanship, and the overall development of young athletes. Join us in shaping the future of Laker Middle School Baseball!

• Must meet MSHSAA Coaching Requirements 3.1.5.
• Coaching experience at the middle school, high school, or club level preferred.
• Ability to be employed as a Middle School teacher or support staff position preferred.

Middle School Athletic Director

Board Policy for Staff Conduct

• Plan and conduct practices and conditioning to improve hitting, pitching, and fielding skills that enhance all aspects of the game.
• Teach fundamental skills, strategy, and teamwork in a positive and encouraging environment.
• Direct, mentor, and motivate players during practices and games.
• Develop and implement a program that emphasizes player growth, discipline, work ethic, and sportsmanship.
• Collaborate or assist with out‑of‑season conditioning.
• Ensure the physical safety of all student‑athletes, including adherence to medical protocols and completion of required paperwork.
• Maintain open, professional communication with athletes, parents, school administration, and athletic directors.
• Coordinate with the athletic department regarding scheduling, transportation, and facility use.
• Serve as a positive role model for student‑athletes.
• Knowledge and understanding of the MSHSAA by‑laws.

Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Middle School Athletic Director, or Central Office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

• Extra Duties Pay Scale
• Teaching position contingent on availability and appropriate DESE certification.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Professional Staff (teachers).
