The Water Fitness Instructor leads safe, engaging, and effective aquatic exercise classes for participants of varying ages and fitness levels. This role focuses on promoting physical fitness, mobility, and overall wellness through low‑impact water‑based workouts in a positive and inclusive environment.

• Make water fitness a fun and enjoyable activity
• Promote safety in the pool and surrounding areas

• Knowledge of aquatic exercise principles and water safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and work with diverse populations
• Previous experience teaching water fitness or group exercise classes

• Maintain safety at all times and never leave class unattended
• Plan and instruct water fitness classes
• Ensure participant safety by monitoring class members and enforcing pool rules
• Modify exercises to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities
• Maintain a welcoming, motivating, and professional class atmosphere
• Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach scheduled classes
• Communicate effectively with participants and facility staff
• Report incidents, injuries, or equipment issues to management promptly

Schedules will be determined based on your availability. You will enter your availability on Digi, and the Facility Manager will schedule you accordingly. Keep in mind you are expected to work the ENTIRE session that you are scheduled for.
