Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as an Quad Manager and contribute to some of the best baseball tournaments in the country! As an Quad Manager for Prep Baseball KC, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a busy and dynamic baseball facility. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure the facility runs smoothly, creating a positive experience for our players, coaches, parents, and fans.
About Us:
Prep Baseball Kansas City operates 2 premier sports venues dedicated to providing a top-of-the-line tournament experience to players of all ages and skill levels. Two spectacular complexes with 14 total fields only 15 minutes apart hosting the same event week in and week out! Prep Baseball Tournaments is a rapidly growing tournament operation with a fast-paced work environment specializing in amateur baseball.
- Creekside Baseball Park is located 15 minutes from the KCI airport, has a Holiday Inn Express on-site, 6 fields with turf infields and lights, freshly renovated grass outfields, batting cages, turf bullpens with plyo-walls and mounds, a full-size concession stand, covered dugouts and bleachers.
- Homefield Baseball Complex is located 25 minutes from the airport, sits right across the highway from the Legends shopping center, and has many hotels and restaurants nearby as well as other amenities. As for the baseball fields?? There are brand new 8 fully turfed diamonds with lights, batting cages on each field, turf bullpens and mounds, two concession stands, covered dugouts and bleachers.
- Oversee games on 4 diamonds
- Provide baseballs to umpires
- Ensure games are beginning on schedule
- Effectively communicate with umpire assignors, operations managers and directors
- Interact with coaches, teams and spectators
- Learn the tournament rules for each specific tournament weekend
- Assist with field management
- Conflict resolution
- Customer service
- Months of Operation:
March - November (can be flexible) - September through End of April:
Fridays - Sundays - May through July:
Thursdays - Mondays
- Hands-on experience in sports facility operations.
- Exposure to various aspects of sports management and event planning.
