Job DescriptionAct as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved and ride along with a CDL driver to assist with duties. Document the destruction process of DEA controlled substances, load containers, assist with inventory management, follow all health and safety procedures, and complete related paperwork. Provide regular contact with external customers and perform any other duties as requested.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA controlled substances are involved.
- Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with duties at their stops.
- Video the destruction process of DEA controlled substances and upload video into employer system.
- Requires up to 75% overnight travel based on routes.
- Load containers and supplies to truck for daily service stops.
- May assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies, practices, and procedures.
- Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies.
- Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Performs related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Regular contact with external customers and different levels of personnel on a daily basis.
- Candidate must meet all requirements for handling DEA regulated waste.
- Drive non-DOT regulated vehicle to customer sites to witness regulated waste collection as needed.
Starting pay $20.00 hourly.
Qualifications Basic Requirements- High school diploma or GED.
- One or more years related experience preferred.
- Knowledge OSHA Regulations.
- Proficiency with Windows based programs (Excel and Word).
- Ability to operate a powered industrial truck (e.g., forklift).
- Clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow procedures.
