CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

• Average pay of $80,000 per year

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects before and after trips and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Verify bill of lading accuracy, store keys, and ensure off‑hour delivery documents are correct.
• Operate the tractor‑trailer to the destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills.
• Maintain driver logs (Manual or People Net) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
• Unload trailer and deliver products into customers’ premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A)
• At least 1 year of tractor‑trailer driving experience or 50,000 verifiable miles
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English at a level required for safe job performance (including work instructions, safety protocols, and communications)
