Driver’s Helper

Assist the truck driver in all day‑to‑day activities, including loading and unloading the truck, scanning routes, and ensuring timely delivery of freight. Perform warehouse tasks and operate material handling equipment as required.

• Accurately load the daily route onto the truck.
• Scan the daily route onto the truck.
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries.
• Assist driver with carrying freight to a business or residence destination.
• Utilize the manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers to load and unload trucks.
• Perform material handling duties such as picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting, and other related tasks.
• Ensure timeliness, proper packaging and accurate system work.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS &
  
  D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ensure safe and secure work environment, including TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read a map and demonstrate general geographic knowledge.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others with little supervision.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.

Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, bend, and lift objects above the head. Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds and use pallet jacks and forklifts. Use phone, PC, and read/write various shipping documents.

Pay Range: $19 to $20 per hour.
Shift: Monday–Friday6am–3pm.
