Location: California

Do you enjoy working in a fast‑paced, safety‑obsessed aviation environment? As a Warehouse Agent, you will be essential to increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing inbound and outbound shipments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from trucks.
  • Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents when accepting or delivering cargo.
  • Issue appropriate warehouse receipts or collect signed copies of delivery receipts.
  • Ensure that cargo has a proper release issued by office personnel before delivery to consignor or agent.
  • Operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets, and pallet jacks.
  • Break down cargo from import flights, sort as required, check freight against manifest, and store in proper manner and location in the warehouse.
  • Build up cargo for export flights, following instructions of supervisor or person directing the buildup of the freight.
  • Keep inventory of on‑hand freight, warehouse supplies, airline equipment, and containers.
  • Maintain security of the cargo and company equipment; observe any tampering or pilferage and report incidents to supervisor as needed.
  • Maintain work area in a clean condition and report damaged or broken equipment.
  • Accept related assignments from lead agents, supervisors or management.
  • Complete paperwork and forms connected with work assignments, and enter data into the company’s information system.
  • Follow company procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and responsible operation.
  • Complete all required training from the company, airport governing authority, or customer.
  • Be punctual, prepared, and maintain safety; be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Safety, Security and Compliance
  • Take reasonable care for health, wellbeing, safety, and security of self and others.
  • Cooperate with manager or supervisor to comply with legal requirements.
  • Do not misuse company property; report hazards, near‑misses, incidents, or accidents to supervisor.
  • Follow safety and security policies and attend required training.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and moving items 70 pounds (32kg) or more on a regular basis; lifting items 40–50 pounds on raised surfaces.
  • Walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping frequently and for extended periods.
  • Being alert to moving vehicles; using radio equipment to communicate.
  • Working around machinery noise.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Good communication skills; verbal and radio communication.
  • Basic mathematical skills to calculate piece count, weight, and dimensions.
  • Computer skills to track cargo in computer systems.
  • Problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting issues during loading and unloading.
  • Time‑management skills to complete tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
  • At least 18 years old; high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (if location in the US) or Canada (if location in Canada).
  • Completion of ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
  • Capability to secure a Customs Seal through governing agency if required by customer or role access.

$27/hr.
