The primary role of the Logistics Specialist involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and for timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging products at the customer’s business location. The LS is expected to represent Tire Hub professionally in all customer interactions, maintain safe driving practices, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster strong customer relationships.
Compensation and ScheduleStarting wage: $20 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over the first year.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 9 am – 1 pm, Saturday mornings as needed.

- Responsible for distribution of tasks, including general warehousing, delivery services, and vehicle maintenance.
- Perform loads, unloads, inspections, and tallies of tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans).
- Follow Tire Hub safety standards for selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders, and use the bin locator system.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of scheduled and annual inventory control procedures.
- Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
- Maintain vehicles in good mechanical condition and ensure cleanliness.
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections daily and report operational issues.
- Complete driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
- Ensure compliance with all Tire Hub policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training via in‑class or computer‑based modules.
- Execute other tasks assigned by Supervisor or leadership.
- Optimize work processes for efficiency and continuous improvement.

- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum 3 years of driving history with a valid license (no learner’s permit).
- Must be 19 years old or older.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs) with or without mechanical assistance.
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
- Multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Accurately load, unload, and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
- Work up to 35 feet above ground level.
- Operate a forklift for up to 8 hours per day.
- Follow traffic rules and safely drive company vehicles to deliver tires.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Manifest, GPS, and navigation systems.
- Maintain forklift certification.
- Maintain a valid REAL I.D. driver’s license with minimum 2 years of driving experience (3 years preferred).
