Logistics Manager

The forwarding company specializes in (multi-) temperature-controlled transport and warehousing services for the food industry, wholesale and retail, system gastronomy as well as for the pharmaceutical industry. At the company location in Heppenheim, we are looking for a

• Leadership of employees in the warehouse
• Staff deployment planning in the warehouse area
• Responsibility for inventory management and execution of movement bookings
• Assignment of goods and coordination of warehouse stocks at various warehouse locations
• Recording, maintenance and feedback of data in IT systems
• Communication and coordination with suppliers
• Processing of complaints and clarification of discrepancies
• Direct contact person for our customers with warehouse-related questions

• Commercial training or a comparable qualification, e.g. specialist for warehouse logistics, merchant for forwarding and logistics services etc.
• Professional experience in forwarding, logistics or warehousing
• Ideally management experience
• Secure handling of MS-Office and ERP systems
• Independent, structured and reliable working method
• Strong customer and service orientation
• Flexibility and resilience
• Very good communication and assertiveness
• Willingness to work shifts (including compensated night, Sunday and public holiday work)
• Very good German skills (at least B2) as well as basic knowledge of English
• Driving license class B
