At the company location in Heppenheim, we are looking for someone responsible for the operations to ensure a stable and economically disciplined transport and forwarding operation.

Your tasks:

• Leadership and development of the team (transport planning, fleet management, administration)
• Control of daily disposition, planning and execution of temperature-controlled transports (including with own vehicles)
• Ensuring smooth operations of piece goods, part and full load transports
• Deployment planning of own fleet and external freight forwarders
• Point of contact for customers regarding complaints, deviations, and delays
• Control and development of freight forwarders
• Analysis and monitoring of KPIs
• Implementation of optimization measures
• Compliance with legal regulations in the transport sector
• Contribution to projects and process improvements

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in road transport
• Qualification as a traffic leader
• Extensive experience in transport disposition and in the management of employees in disposition and customer service
• Knowledge in temperature-controlled road freight
• Experience with own vehicle fleet and freight forwarders
• Knowledge of transport law
• Secure handling of forwarding programs (TMS)
• Communication and leadership skills
• Structured and solution-oriented working method
• Willingness to travel within Germany
• Driving license class B
• Language skills in English
