Logistics Service Provider Position

Die Wilhelm Schüssler Spedition GmbH is a medium-sized logistics service provider and since 2025 a part of the globally operating New Cold Group. The company specializes in (multi-) temperature-controlled transport and warehousing services for the food industry, wholesale and retail, system gastronomy, and the pharmaceutical industry. Using modern equipment and a qualified and motivated team, the company provides reliable and efficient logistics services.

At the company location in Heppenheim, we are looking for a:

• Personal deployment planning of the own fleet under compliance with all legal requirements (e.g., labor and driver’s law)
• Purchase and sale of freight and loading space
• Execution and control of time window bookings
• Recording, distribution, and assignment of transport orders to external service providers as well as internal order assignment
• Creation of freight documentation as well as quality and performance reports
• Supervision of transport operations and ensuring quality standards
• Processing of complaints and deviations
• Communication and coordination with customers, partners, and drivers

• Training as a logistics manager (m/f/d) or professional driver (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in logistics or transport, ideally in the field of distribution or route planning
• Secure handling of MS-Office as well as experience with a logistics program, ideally LIS Win Sped
• Good knowledge of legal regulations (labor law, driver’s law, etc.)
• Strong organizational and planning skills as well as independent working style
• Flexibility, stress resistance, and solution-oriented thinking
• High communication and team skills
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays with compensation
• Very good German language skills (at least B2) as well as basic English knowledge
