Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global logistics strategies aligned with corporate objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage the global logistics team to ensure high performance and professional growth
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, and production to ensure seamless operations
- Oversee the end-to-end global logistics process, including transportation, and 3rd party warehousing & distribution, consolidation centers, and transloading
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Negotiate with global and regional logistics suppliers to deliver cost and service requirements
- Manage Revelyst contracts for Parcel, Ocean, LTL Full truck load, etc
- Establish and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers
- Evaluate and select logistics partners based on performance, reliability, and strategic fit
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation
- Conduct financial analysis to assess logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, costs, and trends to senior management
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency, accuracy, and speed
- Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in logistics management
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the logistics team
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- A Master's degree is preferred
- 12+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
- 7+ years in a leadership role
- Prefer a background with consumer goods logistics
- Strong knowledge of global logistics operations, international trade regulations, and customs procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage budgets, and achieve operational goals
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as ERP and TMS systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
Demonstrates expertise in developing and implementing global logistics strategies, managing logistics teams, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Proven ability to analyze logistics performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in operations.
