Dollar General Fleet is hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers for regional home weekly routes. As a DG Fleet driver, you'll connect our distribution centers with Dollar General stores and new locations expanding across the country - all while getting home every week and bringing the people (and pets) you love along for the ride.
Salary: $80,000 to $110,000

General CDL-A Driver – Responsibilities & RequirementsThis driver role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. The duties include building strong relationships, handling heavy loads, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with customers and others in the organization and able to thrive in the ever-changing work environment
- Frequently lifting, carrying, positioning and off-loading products/boxes weighing up to 60 pounds when unloading trailers
- Complying with all Local, State, and Federal regulations regarding all aspects of transportation
- Maintain a current Class A CDL License and a current medical examiner's certificate of health
- Maintaining a valid and current driving record acceptable to our insurance company
- Safely and appropriate handling of all assigned equipment and for maintaining the equipment and its cleanliness
- Maintaining current and accurate service records logging hours according to DOT requirements and company policy as well as preventing overweight violations
