- Safely haul and deliver fuel to local and regional locations.
- Provide friendly, professional service at every stop.
- Operate and care for company trucks and equipment.
- Plan efficient routes and keep deliveries running on schedule.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, TSA, company, and other applicable safety requirements.
- Maintain required licenses, certifications, driving logs, mileage records, and receipts.
- Complete required vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before, during, and after your route.
- Quickly report mechanical concerns, accidents, violations, or safety issues.
- Stay calm and make smart decisions when traffic, weather, or unexpected situations change the plan.
- Protect company property and follow all safety and security procedures.
- Represent the company professionally wherever the road takes you.
- Pitch in with other duties as needed.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to safely operate and maintain heavy trucks and related equipment.
- A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, stay on schedule, and keep moving in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using technology and learning new systems.
- Good judgment, integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic
- Minimum of two (2) years of proven work experience as a professional truck driver
- Proficient with electronic equipment and software including GPS, AVL units, CB radios, and related systems
- Thorough knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Clean driving record with no recent moving or driving violations
- Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tank vehicle endorsement
- Ability to drive a manual transmission
- Possession of TWIC card (preferred) or ability to obtain TWIC card within 60 days at own expense
