CDL A Truck Driver

Responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and heavy trucks to transport rental equipment between the yard, job sites, and customer locations, ensuring on-time delivery and full compliance with DOT and safety regulations.

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and heavy trucks to transport equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT requirements.
• Load, secure, and unload heavy equipment using proper rigging and tie-down methods.
• Verify load weights and distribution to ensure safe, compliant transport.
• Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and hours-of-service documentation.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and routes with dispatch.
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations.
• Maintain a valid CDL and clean driving record, including required endorsements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• 2+ years of CDL driving experience, heavy equipment hauling preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Knowledge of load securement and weight distribution regulations.

Ability to sit for extended periods while driving, frequently lift, secure, and maneuver equipment up to 100 pounds, and work in varying outdoor weather conditions.

This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is eligible for overtime pay for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek, in accordance with applicable federal and state law, except where the Motor Carrier Act exemption applies to hours worked.
