CDLA Flatbed Driver

CDL-A Local Driver | Springfield, MO

$18.00/hour + $10 Per Stop Incentive

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM | Home Every Night

Penmac Transportation is hiring an experienced CDL-A Local Driver for a full-time opportunity in Springfield, Missouri. This position supports a local steel fabrication operation, delivering fabricated rebar and structural steel throughout Springfield and surrounding areas. If you are an experienced CDL-A driver who enjoys local routes and being home every night, this could be a great fit.

• Valid CDL-A license
• At least 1 year of recent CDL-A driving experience
• Experience securing and strapping loads safely
• High school diploma or GED
• Stable work history
• Willingness to submit to a criminal background check and other pre-employment screenings as required
• Acceptable driving record
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to assist with general yard duties when deliveries are not scheduled

• Operate gooseneck trailers and flatbed semi trucks
• Transport fabricated rebar and structural steel to customer locations
• Complete loading verification checklists with loading personnel
• Properly secure all loads before transport
• Operate a forklift to load and unload materials as needed
• Perform local deliveries while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service
• Assist with yard operations between scheduled deliveries

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
• Additional $10 per stop incentive
• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Home every night
