# Parts Warehouse Associate Vermeer Cypress - Cypress, TX 77429## Description The
** Parts Warehouse Associate
** is an entry-level position responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including but not limited to shipping, receiving, forklift operation, inventory control, and maintaining the yard and warehouse area. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations.
** Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*** Receiving, unpacking, and stocking parts in the warehouse and surrounding yard
* Managing stock and conducting cycle counts
* Packing and shipping parts to customers and returning parts to the manufacturer
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, loading and unloading material onto or off of pallets, trays, racks, shelves, and vehicles
* Represents company at factory, industry, and company events, including meetings and training
* Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
* Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner## Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED
* Desire to work in a fast paced, organized environment with the potential for career advancement
* Strong work ethic, team player and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
* 1+ years experience in a warehouse environment
* Safe work habits, ability to work with minimal supervision, customer service oriented, reliable, and able to adapt to changing temperatures in the work environment
* Communicates professionally, respectfully, and honestly at all times. Communication is to be clear and language is to be profanity free, while employee demeanor is to be calm and composed
* Organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy is key
* Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. This position requires a significant amount of time standing and walking
* Noise level in working environment can be moderate to high
* Background check and pre-employment drug testing required
* Personal appearance must be neat and clean
* Certain positions require a valid driver's license and ability to meet requirements of the Company Driver Policy; the Company will review motor vehicle records annually for all employees for whom driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function or when employees must obtain and drive rental vehicles during the course of conducting company business
