Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate reports to the Executive Winemaker and has responsibility for functions surrounding the movement of raw materials and finished goods product in, out of and within the warehouse.

Essential Job Duties:

The following duties are typical for this position. Employees may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.

• Prepare outgoing orders for shipment
• Safely operate forklift in the course of daily work
• Receive shipments and inspect product and identify issues
• Monitor inventory of shipping and warehouse supplies
• Performs physical counts of inventory
• Prepares shipment documentation, obtains freight quotes, prepares BOL's and arranges dock times
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse
• Transport items to Recycling, using a company vehicle
• Performs other related duties as directed.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time in order to successfully perform the assigned duties.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid Drivers License and a clean driving record
• Applicants must be at least 22 years of age, per insurance requirements, to drive a company vehicle for transporting recycling

Environment:

Work is performed, primarily in a standard Warehouse environment with frequent interruptions.

Physical:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a warehouse setting and have the ability to operate all warehouse equipment to include Forklifts. To stand or sit for prolonged periods of time, to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. To lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight. To operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including the use of a computer keyboard and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Vision:

See in the normal visual range with or without correction.

Hearing:

Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
