Warehouse Supervisor

The Doe Run Company is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehousing activities and support maintenance and operations, ensuring equipment and materials are available for operations. This position is located at our Buick Resource Recycling Division in Boss, MO.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day activities of warehouse operation within budgeted goals, including receipt, logging, stocking, and distribution of materials.
• Partner with maintenance and operations teams to ensure needed parts are available for daily needs and upcoming projects.
• Record and track all inventory activity, conduct inventory and cycle counts, and report inventory plan vs. actual inventory, identifying and resolving errors.
• Implement strategies to improve efficiencies within warehouse operations; partner with purchasing to assure parts availability and work with vendors on consignment.
• Sign shipping manifests as needed.
• Train, coach, and counsel employees on policies, processes, and performance alignment.
• Maintain EHS compliance, holding reports accountable for policies and procedures, and providing continuous improvement feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of warehousing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and People Soft (ERP).
• Intermediate knowledge of industrial manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills for coaching and warehouse knowledge development.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management.

Work Environment &

Physical Requirements:

• Regular use of computer/tablet; occasional use of loading/hauling equipment; rare personnel carrier driving.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor weather and varying temperature; frequent work near moving parts; moderate noise; PPE required (respirator, ear, eye, foot protection).
• Frequent speaking, hearing, standing; occasional sitting, grasping, pushing, walking, etc.; vision requirement 20/20 within 20 feet.
• Weight lifting requirements: up to 15 lbs regularly; 16‑25 lbs frequently; 26‑50 lbs occasionally; 51‑100+ lbs rarely.
