- Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse and inventory operations
- Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or overstock
- Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies
- Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
- Maintain proper documentation of inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Enforce safety procedures and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for improved productivity and space utilization
- Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to meet operational demands
- Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and performance tracking of team members
- Investigate and resolve inventory or operational issues in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the warehouse facility
- Support implementation of process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Assist in LTL, small pack, and container loads
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred - 3+ years of warehouse or inventory experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong understanding of inventory control practices and warehouse operations
- Experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations (preferred)
- Ability to lift and move materials (e.g., up to 40-50 lbs, depending on role)
- Flexibility to work shifts or overtime as needed
- Forklift certification
- Experience with barcode scanning systems or RFID tracking
- Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement experience
