We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our branch operations. This hands‑on role splits time between making safe, timely deliveries to customers and supporting warehouse operations to keep things running smoothly. As the backbone of our business, you will provide prompt, courteous service during deliveries, assist with customer pickups, and work in the warehouse to load/unload trucks, manage inventory, and keep the workspace clean and organized.
Responsibilities- Make safe, timely deliveries to customers and assist with customer pickups.
- Load and unload trucks, including using forklift, reach truck, and picker as required.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by unloading inbound shipments, inspecting for damage, and stocking.
- Prepare glass for shipment, affix proper labels, and assist with glass cleaning.
- Follow delivery routes and schedules, record payments, and input data into the ordering system.
- Perform general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed.
- Maintain appearance of branch, including cleaning warehouse, counter areas, and related spaces.
- Complete required logs and documentation.
- Assist in the handling of returns and processing returned stock.
- Perform other tasks assigned by branch manager.
- Pass an MVR check.
- Safely and competently operate forklift, reach truck, and picker.
- Have 3–5 years of driving and delivery experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adaptability to warehouse environments.
- Capable of working well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow directions in an ever‑changing workplace.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
Requires close visual acuity for computer terminal or mobile device use, visual inspection of small defects and parts, hearing at normal speaking levels, and fine sound discrimination. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly, as well as provide finger grip strength for handling glass. Must remain stationary or upright for prolonged periods, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and occasionally crouch during an 8‑10 hour shift.
